I have called just about every caterer in town regarding my wedding and the typical response has been as follows: a) no response at all b) giving me a quote 3x the price that I requested c) the caterer telling me to scram because they don't work within my budget d) unhelpful responses referring me to their website (uh, duh).
I just happened to find Maison Cuisine on a random wedding website and went about requesting a quote just like any other catering service. The difference was that within one day Danielle responded to me, provided me their full menu, a quote for my event, and we set up a tasting date. Before even trying her food, she had me sold within the first few emails.
Because we could not arrange for a tasting at our venue, she came to our home. I was super impressed with how organized she was in preparing everything at our house and she even had excellent presentation for each of the dishes. And most importantly, we loved the food! The chicken picatta, butternut squash ravioli, and salmon in a cuban mojo sauce were highlights for us.
A couple final notes:
+ She only does one event per day. She is the executive chef and will be at your event.
+ She focuses on organic ingredients and strives to be a Green business.
+ She is incredibly affordable. The quote we received from her included staff, all rentals, and food and it was the lowest of any of the quotes we received. And we are giving our guests way more food options than the lowest quote we received.” Carolyn Sellers
