What started as a small kitchen in Oakbrook known as HOME Catering, has grown into one of Chicago’s most popular “boutique caterers”. We have recently opened a second kitchen in New Buffalo, MI, offering our services to Southwest Michigan's "Harbor Country" & Northwest Indiana.

Maison Cuisine starts each dish with the highest quality ingredients. We use locally and organically grown fruits and vegetables, when seasonally available – some coming from our own organic garden!  We offer natural meats & poultry, in addition to freshly prepared baked goods.

Danielle (Barranco) Wheeler opened HOME Catering in 2002, after working for Carlyn Berghoff Catering. She has since expanded with Maison Cuisine. While only 32 years old, she has about 20 years of culinary experience! Being of French-Italian descent, cooking was not a chore growing up, it was a lifestyle!

Danielle graduated with a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu/Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago. She also holds a degree in Interior Design, which allows for the most innovative displays of food!
